took off the downpipe and looked up into the 02 housing and it was yellow. what the hay?!

Gas additives can turn the inside of your exhaust all kinds of colors. Sometimes mine looks kinda like a burnt orang/rusty color. pretty normal

I have 32k on my 02 sensor and it looks yellow powdery, should I change it out?

take the O2 sensor, put it in a beaker of toluene. Sonicate in a ultrasound cleaner for ~5 mins, takes all the crap off.
