Cam gear install Q's- also running rich?

I've searched this forum but I can't find a post that regards the average time it will take to install JUST cam gears.

I ordered adjustable HKS cam gears, hopefully this is going to fix my stalling problem caused by my 272s.

Anyone have a link to install guide on these? Evomoto.com has a write up on just the cam shafts install but I didn't see anything regarding just the gears.

Is it hard to do yourself?

Also I think my car is running too rich, When I flashed my ECU and dynoed my car I was at 11.2 for a/f ratios.. which is running normal right?

I'm noticing little bits of raw fuel spraying out my exhaust, that's why I'm assuming I'm running rich.

Thanks
James

here is a link for the cam and cam gear install, if you just want to install the gears just start from where they do with the gear install. you are going to need zip tie the gears to the belt, put the tensioner tool in, mark the belt with like white out or something of that sort where the tdc mark is on the stock gears, pull one gear out while keeping tension on the belt and replace it with the new one making sure that the tdc mark is in the same place, then just repeat for the other side. once you are done you are going to need to crank the motor by hand through the passenger wheel well (turn clockwise) until the marks you put on the belt come all the way back around and make sure that they are still lined up with the tdc marks on the cam gears. good luck, oh and it doesnt take that long about an hour if you are taking your time

Russ, I like how you told him it isn't that hard but you didn't do mine. :-P I am doing mine now anyway, just been too lazy. Same thing with the cams themselves, so instead I went to you guys for a long journey to your boys house, how is the car doing? He get the motor in? And you fix the o2 sensor issue.

I just realized I brought back an old thread. haha
