My friend's Talon got some bad gas and it ended up plugging the injectors. Chaned fuel pump filter bag and fuel filter and car still wouldn't run although it had adequate fuel pressure. That one was hard to find. Not likely but it's a thought. A compression check wouldn't hurt either although it sounds like it is fuel or ignition related. You could also check the fuel injection signals with a noid light. Scan would be the next best thing to try.

i went and got a code scanner. scanner picked up a bad crankshaft sensor and it turns out that the oil pump belt broke(it was shredded to pieces) and then ended up breaking the crankshaft sensor or the other way around. this is new to me. i've work on alot of dsm's and i've never had this happen is this a common problem with evo's. i've never heard of anything like this happening. kinda freaks me out. i hope i didn't do any internal damage. at least i wasn't going very fast when this happened. thanks for everyones help its very appreciated.

See if you can get them from another dealer if you despise yours. I think you will have a hard time finding them anywere else.
