50 Trim vs. Gt 3076r???

i am looking for the best overall street/drag set up on pump and alky. due to my elevation i cannot go with the 35r, so i am trying to decide between these two turbos. they seem to produce similar numbers, where the 50trim sometimes produces more. i was wondering which turbo is the better choice? i dont have any knowledge about the 50trim, the garret turbos seem to be the more popular turbos. i was wondering if there is an advantage choosing one over the other? i am looking for 450+whp.

another option is the 35r on a stroker motor, but im not sure if its going to be worth it since it would spool the same as a 35r on a 2.0 at sea level up here. im looking for the best performance on the street. i usually run into alot of v8s such as supercharged mustangs and camaros.

look into the rnr 50 trim turbo kit. they are getting really good numbers above 400whp without alky or race gas. garret also has made ball bearing centers for their t3/t4 turbos which should also help with spool up. the gt3071 is a good turbo but lacks the torque and even with all supporting mods, people on this forum still are using alky or race gas to achieve over 400whp!

since the 50trim now has a ball bearing option, is it a better choice than the 3076?

Im running the 3076 and put down 456awhp with alky on 92 octane. Thats at 3500ft above sea level. The da usually is 5500ft. It spools pretty quick. I would highly recommend this turbo.

50 trim = old tech and inferior to 3076 There really isn't much to talk about...

I have a RNR 50 Trim Kit with Equal Length Manifold for sale...

Used, mint condtion, about 1000 miles... $2400 shipped... PM me...

Let me know... 50 Trim is the cheaper alternative... Both turbos are great!

I don't think so, The TT kit uses a Newly designed Innovate 50 trimm BB CHRA, and it spools hella fast. The transient boost responses between shifts is awesome. Their is a board member REZ90 that just made 480whp on the TT dyno.
