More and more car woes help needed
Will know Saturday when I take it to Pruven, Also Al at Dynoflash is also offering to make any minor changes if needed to my flash but that's going to be next week if it's not a mechanical issue causing my problems.
thanks for the support

I had all these same problems.. first of all ditch the cam geras, I want to get all new timing belts while i was out it just in case they strecthed since the car had almost 60K.. my front 02 sensor had burned out causing my plugs to fail.. replace the sparkplugs.. make sure your not throwing the inactive front 02 sensor code which will cause your ecu to dump fuel into the motor, beyond that my cam timing was off.. I have a great tuner who was able to point it out very quickly that the timing was off and was holding back the car.. lets just say he made it 100% .. plus put that stock airbox back on if you dont have it.
if your troubles started after the cam swap, verify the cam trigger is correctly clocked. With your cams & crank pulley lined up on the marks, remove the cam trigger cover & see that the smaller of the 2 prongs inside the cam trigger housing is pointing to roughly 10 oclock.
buy yourself some tools & do this yourself. It appears that you can read, so you can do this. As long as you have functioning limbs, you'll be fine.
put your stock bov & airbox back on, send your ecu back for a reflash for the your new mod set-up & go from there.
take care when handling your maf sensor. Make certain whoever did your intake install didnt damage the maf.
good luck

sounds good, I don't think I have all the pieces left for my stock air box... I'm going to try to stock BOV again, but only as an experiment, I need something that holds boost better... looking into APS or JDM MR as those are the 2 that don't have bad reviews....
i tell you guys - this is really retarded
I hope this thread can be a poster case for how to NOT handle a minor problem with your car
This poor customer is like a cat chasing his tail calling every one and listening to everyone in god's creation - when
ALL he had to do was send an email or PM to the tuner - myself - and say in the email he had the front o2 sesnor code
I feel badly that he went through this problem but question WHY people make threads like these?

I called TurboTrix... whoever picked up was really really nice to me... answered every question I had.. called back 30 mins later and answered more questions I had.. He was talking to me and I heard a car on the dyno and then he apologized of the noise... wow... thats awesome customer service.
I haven't talked to AL much to consider rating his customer service but he doesn't pick up the phone very well... same goes for Pruven.. but Pruven seemed to do an awesome job on my cam install and Dan know's alot of his stuff.
I'm not 100% comfortable going back to AL.. but I might do it anyway just because it's more convenient for me to get there. I'm hoping he can fix my tune and charge me a reasonable price.
I cannot live without my car any longer.. I struggle to work without it.
Possibly I may ask him if he could make my tune less aggressive even if I lose power aslong as I get my drivability back I'm done with power...
I was 11.2 a/f ratio on the dyno at the time and I only made 316whp 330wtq on Pruvens dyno... was a little dissapointed with those numbers but even worse the way my car drove home..

Again, I am sorry that you went through this multi page melodrama - but - Its impossible to help you if you dont call the source !! Next time leave a message
F 02 sensor is easy to diagnose - if you get the F02 sensor code you have to change it - easy fix
Good luck

Thanks all for your suggestions, I got finally fixed the stalling problem, it wasn't easy to deal with but I got done, thanks to pruven.
Al, your flash was awesome yes, but I posted on this forum because I was anxious to get immediate answers, it's hard to reach you and one thing I hate is playing email tag.. I'm not trying to offend you if you want me to edit or erase my posts I will.
the forum is a much and easier way to conversate and listen to various amount of peoples, tuners, mechanics, shop owners..
Think of it as my point of views and words as newbie who doesn't know much about cars but is getting a good idea thanks to the forum.

There was other factors why I didn't think it was the 02 sensor.
The light I drove home with and had the day I came down was P0171 sys too lean, secondly I've only had the actual p0131 no activity F02 ONCE... and it never came again just countless p0171 codes which maybe I guess eventually led to a dead 02, when I scanned the p0171 lean codes the obdII still had activity on the F02.
How is it my fault is died out anyway.. not like I ever put race fuel in my car and I know it's a wear item but at 16k miles?...

Man, I feel for you.... I was in the same boat as yours with all kinds of issues and crap with my '03 EVO VIII. I went on the forum too and tried to get answers or help. It's impossible to get useful help in a forum unless you are a mechanic already and do your own stuff. People will try to help and offer all kinds of suggestions, but it's all for $hit unless you are right there turning wrenches.
I know how it feels to have a car that has nothing but issues, specially after spending thousands of dollars on parts and labor. I understand how helpless one feels about these things. It's hell to have the car all screwed up and no help on the way. Looks like you got into a mess with your tuners/isntallers. It's obvious that something went wrong and nobody is rushing to get it fixed or if they are, they can't do it.
When Boost Solutions (more like boost problems
) screwed up my car royally, they could not or would not take care of it. I was left hanging out to dry and lots of Boost Solutions a$$ kissers jumped on me to boot
It's hell when they screw up your car and then blame you for it
I was lucky in the end as the guys at Dyno4mance helped me a tremendous amount, and finally Dustin from Vishnu and Seth, spend a long day taking out all the crap that Boost Solutions put on my car. They made it back to stock as much as possible and with Vishnu XEDE and Xflash, Andrew got the car stabilized and making decnt power. Of course, by this time the car developed more serious problems due to Boost Solutions incompetence. The engine had low compression and blowby. The dipstick would blow out of the tube, etc. I finally got tired of the whole thing, removed all the mods I could from the car and traded it in on a new MR. That might not be a solution for you, so I wish you luck getting some help. It's too late now, but maybe it will help somebody else to understand and to know that once you start modifying your car, you'd better know what you are doing and basically know how to fix it yourself.

I am just feeling really bad that you have like three threads going on the same issue and it would have taken 5 mins to diagose the problem over the phone
My additude - if you have a problem - let the people who you paid $ to take a stab at resolving your problem - then if that does not work out to your satisfaction - by all means post up on the forums
Just my way of looking at things
