rpms seem to hang...

rpms seem to hang...
is there anything ican do to my car that will get rid of this? like when i go to shift from 1st to second i let off gass and poull in clutch and the rpms clim up, and seem to hang up there for a sec or 2, right now my car has got dynoflash, 3"tbe no cat, aem intake, forge bov, helix ic pipes, hallman mbc, walbro pump, could it be that my bov is recirculated? it never used to do it this bad...

It's called a flat shift...
Well I'm no expert, my car does that also, 03, but my mechanic programmed my autronics to do exactly that.
When done correctly, it allows you to be shifiting into power vs having the engine lag and catch up. It is quite sweet when you hit it right. This should only happen when you're hitting it hard, maybe in the 4500 - 6000 range.

my car did this when it was stock.... it was not noticable caus of the exhaust.. but it still did it... now with the exhaust.. tis just more annoying.. and my clutch pedal has a little bit of play b4 it gets hard
My EVO did that for a long time, then it eventually went away. Although, it did it in most gears. From what I remember, there was no definitive solution at the time.
I'm guessing it was clutch related.
