*rpm Dropping Question*

Hey i was drivin my evo around tonight and no1 was on the road and decided to push it a little bit i was about i dunno in 4th gear about 6-7rpms and when i put it in nuteral it was dropping very slowly until about 3.5 rpms and then the rmps just completely dropped very quickly...is that normal for the rpms to drop slowly at those rpms and then drop quickly at around 3??thank guy i apperciate it

Please let us know when you find a solution, Ihave a suspiscion its the Idle Speed Control Valve ISCV thats at fault, If I disconnect my ISCV the problem goes away and revs drop quickly
