my car jus started the 5th gear grind it dosent doo it all the time,
jus every once in a wile
is there anything i can doo to prolong from this from happing all the way
i dont think will warrenty this because of my mods
any ideas ???

As far as I know that is a big problem with the 03's. It is a recall so you should be able to go to your dealer and have it fixed regaurdless of your mods. My Evo is at my dealer right now being fixed for that same problem and I have mods. Maybe what you would want to do is search for a mod friendly dealer in your area if you're worried about them voiding your warrenty. Its a recall anyways you can get it fixed... good luck with your search.

 

I Got Same Grinding Problem Shifting From 4th --5th Gear Sometimes If I Redline It... Otherwise In Normal Driving Is Fine...should I Bring It Back To Dealer For Warrnty Work??? I Dont Really Feel Like Bring My Car To Dealer. Cause I Cant Trust Their Work! And I Know They (mechanics) Going To Launch My Car And Drive Crazy ,

 

Go to the dealer and get it fixed , your car still under warranty!

 

There is a service bulleting on 5th gear grind for the 03 Evo... I had mine warrantied with an extreme list of mods and they didnt say anything
