does anything on your car work right?

Is the cat rubbing or the cat-back?

My Buschur exhaust use to touch my driveshaft, you have to play with it untill it fits and doesn't touch it. As long as it's not touching the actual drive shaft and its just touching the ring around it, you're fine. But I recommend trying to move it.

hks wouldnt cover it on warranty either. i sincerely love the hi-power, but i plan to upgrade to an extra-titan eventually.

Why would they cover it under warranty? You just have to make it fit right, there is nothing wrong with the actual exhaust.

i thought it was installed correctly and i researched the issue on the threads and never found one case of this taking place.

i thought it was a fitiment issue with my particular cat-back.

heh thats ironic because I just dropped my car off at my dealership because of some "grinding" in fifth gear. I thought the synchro was messed up turns out it was the HKS against the drive shaft. they fixed it for me.

I know... it seems like I have alot of car problems.. but this is really isn't a "big deal"... The only thing I'm worried about is putting a hole in exhaust.

I believe the cat-back is rubbing but I'll just move it again... thanks just wanted to know how many other people had this problem and it seems to be a normal similiar issue.

Don't be scared to gently "massage" the hangers with a small mallet until the exhaust hangs where it should.

Can you see marks on the catback or on the driveshaft of the two of them hitting?

Many different exhausts have this issue from time to time, part to part... you're putting a larger component in a space that was designed for the OE one... "adjust" it to fit.
