Highest WHP on a 3076R

Parasitic losses from a valve spring on our motors is pretty small (my guess a few hp), now take a 426 Hemi with a 310+ duration .680" lift roller cam with over 200lbs seat pressure and that will cost you a lot more. If you build them loose (low ring tension, higher clearance bearing, looser valve stem clearance) valve spring loss is one of the larger losses but our motor have a great tappet to lifter angle so the spring rates are not bad on the 4g63.

Most people are looking to get the highest RPM possible with the highest power output at those RPMs, otherwise they are worthless. I never cared to do a calculation to figure out the power loss from upgrading springs and such nor would I care... the gains outweight any losses obviously pretty significantly in our cases. I dont know much about american motors (yet) so I would assume to agree compeltely.
Anyways, sorry for the offtopic rants, The poster now knows the power capabilities of the turbo. The boost per RPM is in question... dont listen to bench racers is the answer
You will probably spool in the 4.0k-4.4k in third gear. I own one of them and have done nothing special to increase or decrease the number. I am not a 'professional' but I have seen these so-called 'professionals tune and.. yeah.

I still think a lot of people who make claims on spool rates are not logging the boost they are looking at their gauge. How fast (mph) did your GT30r run.
I am going to do the 2.3 and still wonder if keeping the 30r on there would be the way to go. I would like to get the car in the tens but it is going to be tough to do it on the 30r, I am sure it can be done but it will be work to do it.
Did you dyno your 30r? Has anybody from the DSM side run tens on the 30r?
if you can answer all the my questions

Unfortunately I never did get it to the track due to technical difficulties relating to DSM's (3rd gear went, axle went). The last time it was at the track I was still on the 2.0 without a good amount of the mods I have running an untuned 17psi. I ran something like a 12.2 at 117 with a horrendous 60 foot of 2.0. Next run I pulled a 1.68 but when I grabbed second gear the center diff let go. *Sigh*, story of my life
. But sorry guys, no track times, you were just asking dyno numbers. Track times have been postponed until next season.
Oh and BTW, to whoever asked, my name is Andrew. I'm good friends with all they guys up at Slowboy and such.

Here is the car...

VC needs powdercoated...

And here is the dyno sheet...

. Even though I also own an Evo with the rediculous backwards engine
