270 whp looking to be at about 290 whp

hey guys i have a white evo with hks 264 cams, hks downpipe, hks carbon ti exhaust, intake filter, and xflash from vishnu and put down 270 whp. the car is nice now but im looking for about 20 more reliable whp and i will be done with the power adders. what do you suggest is the best way to do this? i want to keep this car as reliable and daily drivable as possible. im thinking 10.5 hotside, cat delete and maybe exhaust manifold? what do you guys suggest?

the major restriction in your system is still there, the cat. removing that will free up some ponies. I would say that putting a hotside will give a little more power but will give you even more with a cat delete.

definatly get rid of the cat and maybe try a mbc. if you dont have a fuel pump i would reccomend one just to be on the safe side too.

I noticed you are from the Bay. which dyno did you hit 270 at? I hit 290 on my dyno with hks 272, 70dp, helix high flow cat, hks exhaust, helix 02 housing, and a hks panel filter. My car is an 05 tuned with Ecutek.

Give me a call if you have any questions.

A cat-delete is probably the cheapest. I purchased the Helix Cat-Delete for ~$100.00. Worked perfectly and it helped a lot.

The catyletic converter, especially at this point, is holding you waaaay back. GET RID OF. With all your mods - it's lock up 15HP consevativly

10.5 for another strong 5 - 10

I don't think the ex manifold would be worth the trouble at this point.

Why just 20? Why not make it 30 and hit a nice even 300whp?

Get a high flow cat or a cat delete, lower IC piping, maybe an 10.5 hotside and a custum tune and you should be there or over.

+1 but you should get another reflash after the FP and MBC (+1-2 psi), I think you'll be over 300 with this setup
