Cat-back choice

Ok guys anyone have any pics of the GREDDY SP2 and the EVO2 on there cars? I want a quiet exhaust so I know the SP2 is more quiet than the EVO2, but how much louder is the EVO2? Want to see what both look like on the cars. Please post pics and let me know about noise levels, thanks guys...

I don't have any pics of either, but when i did a search for exhaust a while back, LOTS of good info came up. Did you try searching "evo2" or "sp2"? I bet you'll find what you're looking for.

Pics of Greddy SP2

Pardon the dirt, it's been nasty down here of late.

The SP2 isn't as quiet as I was hoping. It sounds good, it does have a resonator, but just a bit too loud for my taste, but then again, the stocker was plenty loud for me.

Hey Doubleugly01, yours looks like the EVO2 cat-back from Greddy not the SP2, how loud do you think it is? Thanks for the pics, I was hoping it would look like it was straight out the back and not angled out the side. How do you like the sound? Notice any power gain? Thanks for the input

There's a group buy going on for the Fujitsubo as well which is just as quiet as stock. I currently have the Fujitsubo RM01A on my car and even with a downpipe/test pipe, it's very quiet.

yeah, my bad it's the EVO2. Old age setting in.....

Definitely straight out the back, no angle whatsoever. The "sound" is nice. the "level" of sound is relative. It has the 95dba rating, so it should be totally legal. A bit louder than I was looking for, but it does not sound ricey at all. A deep purr at idle, and a pleasant growl when in the throttle. The only drone is at about 1000 rpms, or slightly above idle. Freeway cruising you can barely hear it, but I always have the stereo on also.

I put a 3" TBE on all at the same time, and there was a noticeable top end gain. Very noticeable. Whether it was from the cat delete, the cat back or the downpipe (or combination of all 3), I can't say. But the system together made a big improvement.

I have to agree with the Fujisibotofodfos whatever...ive heard it is very quiet. It contains two resonators instead of one thus making it quieter. Dont know how much power it makes though probably more restrictive.
