I quick slip it at 6000 all the time. The reason that these clutches are wearing out quickly is driver error not poor design.
Trust me i will run the stocker until it gives. but when it does decide to go i want to have a clutch ready to go. I just figure if i am going to replcae it i might as well put something better and stonger in.

Basically I beat the **** out of my car and the stock clutch has held for 30k very aggressive miles. The RRE-x looks like stock and has a tad more clamping force. Unless you are hella modded or are willing to spend a grand on a clutch something like the RRE is the hot ticket especially since it wont void your warranty.
I was also looking at the no name it seems to be a decent clutch for the price.

The OEM clutch is only 257 bucks (I just checked with the dealer 2 days ago).
This is a naive statement. Clutches are wear items. They will all go with abuse over time. The question is do you want to burn out a $700 clutch, a $1000 clutch or a $257 clutch? With big horsepower >400 whp then you really need the extra clamping power but less than that I I think that the extra holding power is actually dangerous on an AWD car. If the clutch does not "give" and the tires don't "give" then either the tranny or TC is gonna "give"

another worry......Flywheel, just a thought, but since you have the clutch apart......mightest will change and lighten the flywheel. You dont have too, you can resurface the stock one, but i recommend a lighten flywheel while ur at it.

O yah....It is very tough to find flywheels right now, alot are on back order for instance Fidanza (2 months), Prostreet (maybe getting some this week)

I know this because my car has been on stands for a week and a half. I started to take my car apart to put a cluth in expecting my flywheel to come in the next day. The company I bought it from said that my flywheel was out of stock and on back order. This happened to me twice in one week. Finally I got a flywheel in from a guy name Chris (Thanks) from the EvoM classifieds. So Good Luck!!!
