Clutch change! Stock flywheel....
Resurface or get an aftermarket?
Just trying to do what's best for the car. I don't want to have to crack the tranny open again for a stupid stock flywheel, nor do I want to spend money I don't have to.
Opinions?
For mods I have 3" TBE, Hard I/C pipes, CAI, EBC @ 22psi, Dynoflash, Walbro 255, Greddy BOV
I plan on getting cams/gears/AFC in the future. Should I just get the flywheel?
I'm looking at the Gruppe-S deal with the ACT clutch/CCI flywheel for $725 shipped. What quality is CCI? Never heard of them....

It depends on how hard you are on the parts. The stock flywheel is a good part. It is about 14.5lbs which is pretty light, but it is a bit thin which makes it prone to warp for those that tend to ride the clutch. I can't speak for the quality of the CCI part. I have no experience with it. I don't even know if it is aluminum or steel. Our flywheel which will be available in two weights is going to be very nice; much thicker than stock and yet still lighter, but they won't be available for about 3 weeks.

I had my stocker resurfaced, but it is some hard #hit. The shop that resurfaced had to use their diamond wheel as their normal wheel chattered bad.Only good for about 1 resurface and depending on how much material is removed may not even be good with 1 resurface.
