i know that your idle drops if u have VTA and i'm fully aware of that and as far as pple told me, that's just normal for VTA blow off valves, but dropping twice.... well it's not normal. any good answers would help.

I think it's normal, normal meaning VTA will be giving you inconsistant issues. And I think we are giving you good answers.

I have a GFB adjustable and i had no problems using it even with 272's full vta. If your interested I am selling it for 175.00 shipped, due to selling the car. A friend of mine to had the same problem with his ssqv.

BOV's are useful in making turbocharged cars more efficient ....as we all know. But car manufacturers set up their cars differently and the EVO is one of those cars that uses Mass Air Flow metering and a recirculating BOV and is set up so that all the air that passes past the sensor either enters the intake mainfold or ends up back into the intake ......behind the MAF....the engine now has al the air it took in and will deliver the correct amount of fuel.

With a VTA BOV the fuel is there but the air is not so you have idle issues.

Many cars dont use MAF, or their ECU's are set up differently so VTA's work fine

Oh, right, sure you did. People told you it was great, and it's the best ever for the Evo. Keep using it, because it's great. I promise. The idle dropping twice means your car is a finely-tuned machine running perfectly. It means you're holding that extra boost you're running, which is the reason for having the HKS SSQV, right?

One other thing, Sushi:

- You have 70 total posts, yet you have started _51_ new threads.

- I have 4,036 posts, yet I've only started _32_ new threads.

Please, think about that for a minute. You need to do more reading, and less thread starting.
