Finally somebody mentions a turbo set up besides the GT35R. Don't get me wrong, the GT35R is a great kit and you will make lots of power as long as it tuned correctly and you have the essential supporting mods, but there are other turbo kits out there that easily can put you in the 500WHP range.

First off as everybody has previously mentioned you will need the essential supporting mods, the great thing about the EVO is that there are a lot of companies that offer staged upgrades for really good prices such as AMS Stage I to III will cost you approx. $3,500 to $4,000 or Buschur Stage 0 to IV will also cost you approx. $3,500 to $4,000. There are other companies that can offer you staged upgrades, or you can just mix and match yourself, just as long as you cover all the bases. From there you still have many options, such as BR500 Turbo Kit, Greddy 25G or T67 Kit (laggy) (approx. $3,700), Agency Power Turbo Kit (approx. $3,500), Turbo Trix Turbo Kit, Ultimate Racing Turbo Kit (approx. $3,600), many different 3076R, 3071R, 3037S Turbo Kits available for the EVO. My point is, do your homework before selecting a turbo upgrade. The safe bet is a GT35R, but when only looking for only 500WHP, the GT35R could be a little bit of an over kill.

So this is how you plan ahead for step as large as trying to extract 500 whp out of a 2 liter platform? By getting information from people off an anonymous message board before you even own a car? Well that's just...... swell!

You've changed your mind in this thread about 15 times on which way you would go, based on a single input from someone you don't even know.

what im looking for is a complete list of mods of what it will take to get to that hp mark

and what kinda 1/4 mile times whould that kind of power put a good driver on a good day at, im thinking it whould be in the 10's iv seen people with about high 300 whp, 400whp running mid to low 11's so i think a 100-150 extra wheel horspower whould put it into the 10's

also most important can this be done with pump gas, i can get 94octane at the pump by my house, and 93 anywhere else around here

thanks alot for any and all help

Take your car to Precision Dyno Tuning. Nick is a friend of mine and an INCREDIBLE tuner. He can tune Ecutek and AEM better than anyone else I've heard of. A friend of mine had DynoFlash tune his car...Al got more power for him...took it to turbotrix, they got a little more, but Nick pulled almost 30AWHP out just by fine tuning the car caues he takes the time to tune it properly. Give him a call and take a ride up to Philly to meet with him and check out what he does. He's very friendly and doesn't charge much for stuff. His number is 856-495-2227. Let me know how things went.
