AMS Prototype exhaust done

We just finished our prototype cat-back exhaust for the EVO VIII. It will be available to in a stainless steel version and Titanium version (with Titanium muffler). Our catback includes a flanged reducer so it can be used with the stock cat. conv. or later used with a our full 3" downpipe/car/testpipe. We will be starting on a tubular O2 housing and a 3" downpipe very soon. I'll keep everyone posted on availability (Dealer inq. welcome)

Martin,
Nice job. A couple questions:
1) How much in either option?
2) What is the weight savings over stock?
3) Got any dynos for gains using your exhaust
4) Is the exhaust plug-n-play as far as the O2 sensor goes? I don't want to have to mess with CEL issues, etc.

5) How much louder is it over stock?

Thanks,
Todd

quality looks really good and nice clean fit and finish. when you say "a flanged reducer so it can be used with the stock cat. conv. or later used with a our full 3" downpipe/car/testpipe", does that mean it tappers to mate up to the cat. convertor?

have you started any design work on a down pipe yet, I'm really interested to see the gains on that.

We are working on pricing now and we are also making a prototype downpipe. We will also have a 3" high flow cat option with our donwpipe and a test pipe. With the catback we made 321 whp (FWD), I expect to pick up another 15-20whp with the downpipe and a testpipe.

Bringing an old thread to life...
You still planning on a titanium version for the cat-back?
