Question boost wont go above 15

i had my greddy profec b spec 2 installed and two things strike me as weird. one the installer tee'd the wastegate line back to the factory soloniod and no matter how i set the unit i cant get above 15.5 psi. is there a way to test the solonoid and see if its working. if i cant firgure anythign out im going to buy the perrin soloniod and hack and splice to make it work. somebody please help

Sounds like you didn't hook it up right and are currently running wastegate boost.

I don't have real experience hooking up the greddy but maybe try switching the hoses, you may have put them on backwards or an electrical connection somewhere is not good. Just go over everything again.

Defintely recheck the hoses. My car was doing the same thing almost a year ago when I hooked mine up. I could figure out what was wrong for like 5 hours. Then I switched 2 hoses and it worked fine.

It also took me awhile to get used to the controller itself. It was confusing setting up boost at first. Good luck.

PS This may sound weird but do you live on North Ft. Lewis? Also were you there last year from Oct-Januaryish? I deployed from there and always saw a white evo sitting over by the barracks near the gym and battle bean.

im gonna recheck the hoses today . but no i live on old fort, main fort whatever they call it.

we had the smae problem ...and the problem was with the wastegate springs .
