Anybody have this one? How did it feel when you first got it? Mine feels kind of rough. It vibrates a little when getting to the release point.

 

Need to tell the version you have

 

I just got mine back from getting the same clutch installed... You could feel the flywheel in mine a little bit at first but now since i've got some miles on it the vibrations have gone away..

Hang in there you'll get used to..

 

it's the 2600 HDSS I think. I don't have the box near me.

 

sounds like a install problem to me

 

this clutch is a 2900, not a 2600, and it shouldnt be rattling, maybe clutch chatter??? chatter is normal

 

When you say "rough", do you mean engagement is rough (chatter, shudder) or do you mean rough like vibration or noise (balance problem, shaking) with or without foot on clutch pedal?

Slight chatter is normal on a new ACT street clutch and normally gets better or goes away completely after break-in.
