Need Help with radiator fan controller connection

I had to replace my radiator fan and could not figure out which harness goes where in the fan controller. I figured out where the grey colored 3-pin harness (radiator fan conroller harness) goes.
But there is another black harness that comes from the radiator fan. There are two more openings in the fan controller. This black harness fits in both. One is just beside the grey harness and the other opening is on the other side.

In which opening of the fan controller do I fit the black harness? What are these two openings for? There is only one black harness.

Thanks for the help guys.

If it's the harness with the blue and black wires it plugs to the bottom next to the other plug. Good luck

has anyone used the other opening on the side of the fan controller instead of the bottom one? I have seen that if I use that one, the radiator fan speed increases when the a/c is turned on. Has anyone noticed this?

What use is the side opening then?
