I wonder if more weight in that column makes the resulting hp/tq numbers lower?
In the Newest Spec Sheet that come in the MD (mustand dyno) software, the 05 Evolution is listed as 3625lbs. and HP@50MPH is 15.1 (A stock Evo 8 (not RS,SSL,MR) weights 3263 (full fulids, everything that comes in the car new, No driver). Anyways if you have a Mustang dyno, your suppose to use the above spec. if you not, then MD would say your numbers are not accurate.

Oh yea, to the OP, your numbers seems low. My car was dynoed 232/233 (semi stock, only panel filter and JDM MR DV) on a MD that had no specs tampered with it and used the car weight and HP@50MPH MD says to use. But... I have a JDM MR DV...maybe you sould look into a new DV

A few points

I wish we had just changed out your bov ! I think they were out of stock on forge bov

Second - the dyno does read low - but your power was low also

With boost falling down with leaking bov the turbo works harder to make desired boost and the back pressure increases - it becomes more and more difficlut to make max power

Third - with alcohol 90 % of the power comes from more boost which you cant do with a leaking bov

Fourth - dont comapre dyno numbers - your pre - tune and post tune sheet shows the gains from the tuning alone with same parts

IF YOU change the BOV and turn up the boost you will pick up more power

Next time I am at Buschur I will recheck it for free for you and see how much power you are making with a good bov

NOTE - ALL stock bov's do not leak - some work great - others leak

The car was tuned reliable and smooth - a few more whp will come with more boost !

Hmm if you need a good holding BOV you can buy my APS. Plus on a MD dyno with the setting at 3500 and 15:1 I made 372 ahwp no meth, never dynoed with it.

yes, the only thing that matters with dyno numbers is the before and after tune numbers that al has mentioned. PEOPLE, stop looking at dyno numbers trying to compare it to your car. it doesnt work unless u're both using the same dyno, and hopefully it is a consistent one.
do u have a dyno sheet of ur original numbers fuzzychi?

Unfortunately, I do not have a dynosheet of my car stock or the the dynosheet of my car before the tune. But yes I think the numbers will probably be higher once I replace my stock BOV and will probably drop on by to Bushur if Al is up there again soon and then post up some new dyno sheets.

It'll be nice to have that JDM MR BOV. Do you think that it could hold past 23psi?

You can run like 27psi on it but it will leak slightly.
