Talking Short video demonstrating an aggressive 2-step misfiring system =]

Bored and found this video on one of my tapes... decided to post it to share outta boredom. It may help up confusion on the "machine gun sound" ppl refer to.

Built 14psi @ 5500rpm on the stock turbo.

Enjoy. =]

try the ignition retard at 200-500 rpms before the igntion cut. it shoots out 3 foot flames. i popped out my freeze plug in the waterpump doing this, then later blew the seals out. I think it was just a bad pump though.

is this related to the Mis-Fire system, which combines the torque of a turbo and handling of a NA car?

Misfiring system is something that can keep your turbo spooling even though you don't step on the gas or below the spool-up RPM, simply, kill the turbo lag. You can imagine how much fuel you need to burn in order to run this system.

Learn this from "Initial D"

I'm not sure everyone is on the same page here. There is a mis-fire system (MFS) and an anti-lag system. (ALS)

MFS is an alternative means of controlling the revs for drag launch, and building boost at the same time. (kind of like a stutter box)

ALS injects fuel into the headers during deceleration as I understand it, turning the header into a combustion chamber that spools up the turbo while decelerating, creating no direct power to the drivetrain, but acheiving full boost while decelerating so you have more power when you get back on the gas.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, and list any other similar systems that you know of.
