Why my car is not pulling??

Here is the story, few days ago i meet a Evo guy around my place, and I give him a ride on my car, then he gave me a ride on his car,( my car is a 03 310whp on a dynojet and his car is a brand new stock 06 evo 9 MR). After riding both car one after another, we both feel that his stock 06 evo 9 MR pulls much much harder than mine.

I have read that the stock evo 9 MR is around 260 whp on the dyno.

So my question is how come his car feels much stronger than mine??
More horsepower and torque doesn't mean it will pulls harder?
Or is there anything wrong with my car?( But nothing has been changed after I done with the dyno tune.)

Addition information, I think that is not because the driver, i have let another friend( he did a lot of racings) drive my car, it still feels the same.

Before riding his car, I always tell people that the Sti pulls much harder than Evo, but now...I changed my view, I feel they almost the same.

The 9's have shown to be the most powerful to date, but I doubt he would be putting down more power than your car. A good deal in the difference in pull can be attributed to the 6 speed. The shorter gearing can make the car feel really quick. Also check to make sure your car is putting down all the power (boost leak check, fresh plugs, good gas)

I am pretty sure there is no leak and the car is putting down all the power since it drives the same as the day it done with the dyno

do you have a safc with no flash? if so you are missing on a ton of low end torque. That is probally why his car would seem so much faster.

check your tune with SAFC. I see you have big injectors. that means you are going put like -20 to lean out to make it just like stock. But then, that will add too much timing and give you knocks when your engine gets hot.
Let me tell you. even the stock injectors with just walbro fuel pump, I do -7 max value for SAFC. And then timing is already close to 19 at the end. S-AFC tune will be good on dyno for few runs. But after you car gets bit of heat soak, the ECU will switch to limp mode and it gets worse than the stock tune.

The safc is tuned on the dyno, but the ECU is not flashed....that's why I have safc.

Well if you just slap on parts without reflashing your not going to get the power that the car can really do. Also you need to remeber that with changes in the weather the afc has to get adjusted according to the weather a few days ago my car was at 14.5 at idle then the next day it was 12.7-13.2 so i took some gas out at 1000-1600 and it fixed it right away. And also your 03 has the 9.8 hotside vs the 10.5 hotside on the 9 which holds boost longer and stronger then the 9.8 hotside. Oh yea almost forgot it has the mivec thats another thing that makes it pull so hard on topend.

Get a reflash from jester tuning it will run you around $200 - your shiping beleave me you wont be disapointed and if you get more parts in the next few months just send it back for a free reflash you have 6 months from the first flash. It dont get any better then that.

i know u were trying to help and all, but adding subs in ur trunk does not substantially slow ur car. if ur adding a sub box to ur car generally speaking its only like 45-50lbs, depending on ur subs. we will go even higher for now and say that it ways 100lbs.
well generally speaking for every 200lbs u can lighten off ur car, it will go only about .1 of a sec. faster in the 1/4 mile. so i think ur a little off.
i know my problem is that i just get used to how fast my car is. take someone for a ride that hasnt been in it for a while and see what they say!

It is just torque and broader mid range you are feeling. Torque feels fast.
