Bolt on turbo ?

? How would this perform on the stock exhaust manifold and the proper supporting modes. Or will it even work ?

Dirrect bolt on for Mitsubishi manifold
GT30 & 35R w/gate for Mitsu

A nice manifold is needed to get the most out of a turbo upgrade such as either of those. ATP makes kits that bolt up to stock manifold but don't produce the numbers that kits like AMS do.

Just looked at the ATP kit and it still uses a exsternal waste gate, was wanting to know if a internal waste gated gt30-35r would perform some what similar to the other kits. Or has anyone tried this turbo set-up?

That turbo is not a direct bolt-on for the Evo.. the O2 housing required is for an earlier DSM and the flange is also from the earlier version. also assuming the wastegate actuator faces forward, the turbo is oriented as a DSM would be. Not saying it can't be used, but you would need to use an aftermarket stainless manifold and custom O2 housing at the least.. not sure how it would line up with the actuator being where its located too..
