Nitrous Kit Installed

Next time out im going to try it on the 05. Hopefully the stock clutch will hold.

I took a ride in an 03 Cobra with the Compucar "bottle in a bag" and it was a very stealth look. He had it in a Jansport backpack behind the passenger seat. He kept the push button remote in the center console. You just reach back, turn a knob, and hit a button. When your done just reach back and turn the knob off. Very cool!

Yes it is a very stealthy kit. No one ever knew I was spraying, even if I opened the hood you cant see of it. Everything is in the gym bag that it comes with. All you have to do is run a plastic line up to your air box.
Its the same kit that I used on my cobra. With a 60 shot that car would go from 126 to 133mph traps.

ya thats definitly good stuff. but in all actuallity if u added 50 more hp to ur evo with cams, bolt-ons and other good stuff, wouldnt it trap 8-10mph more then previous anyway? i think its just obvious that u gain that much more in ur trap speed!
I have a few questions about running 50/50 meth injection with nitrous at the same time. First where would be the best placement of the nitrous nozzle, before or after the alky nozzle or does it not even matter? Also is that gonna be just way too much extra stuff to burn to get it to work well together? I currently have the smc alky kit installed in my stock upper ic pipe right before the rubber elbow that goes to the TB. Just wondering about issues of spraying alky/water, nitrous, and fuel all in that same spot, and if the mixing of the 3 would have negative effects. I assume tuning it with the wideband and safc will be the same as always as far as AFR and knock are concerned. I would think I would tune it on the rich side at first to be safe. BUT, will the alky injection be enough now to raise the octane, or will I have to run race gas along with the nitrous at the track. I know its probably a good idea for the margin of saftey, just wondering if its a necessity. Thanks for any input
I don't think you will run into any problems with mixing. I would run 100% meth in the alky kit though for the max detonation resistance.
afc tuning will be same as it was before. tune for max timing and solid A/F rati The afc settings will determine your timing, and the optimal timing is dependant on how much nitrous your putting in.

I didnt read the 8 pages of posts but a dry nitrous kit on a turbo car with bigger injectors enabling you to tune the fuel for the nitrous on the ECU is a better solution than a wet kit. Alt map may not even be necessary as nitrous will also increase the boost which would enable you to add fuel to those maps without affecting normal boost areas.. The most dangerous non-user related failure with a nitrous kit is the fuel solenoid, when this happens you get instant pre-ignition / detonation in many cases. Providing the fuel with the injectors and using a digital rpm window switch makes nitrous much safer. You can also use it for spoolup only and have it turn off the spray when a certain boost level / rpm is achieved.
