Is your stock boost controller still plugged into the wiring harness?

Its an overboost condition, got this code twice on a very cold day when i was hammering it in 4th gear. turn down the mbc, thats what i did, problem solved, when it gets warmer, turn up the boost again.

I have the same problem. I'm in ohio also. It hicups whenever I hit 20psi in 4th or 5th. The air is really cold out, just turn the boost down a bit and check for fouled plugs.

I watched the boost gauge and it hicups also when the car does.

I also watch my a/f gauge and when I step on it it goes into the green "rich" but when the car starts hicuping it shoots into the red "lean" Like back and forth kind of.

Maybe boost cut. Allthough guage may read only 20 psi, for many reasons it may be off 2 -3 psi off and over boosting, in this case mailin flash removes this.

Check the connector right there under the air filter where it plugs into the boost solenoid that you capped during mbc installation. If it came loose you might get the WG fault code you talkin bout.

you need to be tuning your car with some sort of tuning device or a mail in flash.

Hook up your boost source for your MBC from the BOV vaccuum line. I've had mine this way forever, works best. I tried of the nipple too and got inconsistent boost levels.

I've tried there way, I didn't like its inconsistancy. I'm just sharing my experience.
