I've never had any problems out of HKS or Fidanza.

HKS cam gears are nice and I have never seen one slip yet. However, I would recommend a 5 bolts design if you want extra safety margin. Helix has a great design and the price is great compare to other brands.

Thanks,
Tom

Just look at the pics

IMO - AEM - hands down.

Look at the number of bolts. That takes out HKS w/ 3 - then look at size of bolts - that takes out Fidanza as their bolts are much smaller in size.

Also, not familiar w/ HKS but I beleive the fidanza's for the Evo are basically the same as the eclipse gears and as such you have to take that into account when bolting them up. The AEM are specifically for the Evo.

Ive seen several Aem Cam gears(5bolt) break and slip. Never seen an HKS break. I believe the design of the aluminum pieces and how they fit together is more of a factor than whether its a 3 bolt or 5 bolt design.
