Car keeps stalling out

Hey guys i have this problem with the evo. Its keeps stalling whenever i come to a complete stop. Even if I have the car in neutral if i come to a light or stop sign as soon as the wheels stop moving, the car cuts off, and then its a bi#*h to restart. I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it from stalling. I have have 280 cams with a reflash, and for a while now (6+ months), and it used to stall from time to time. But since monday, it has been stalling almost everytime i stop.

Any ideas on what this could be?

What other mods do you have? Intake, BOV? The colder weather may be magnifying whatever previous problem you had with your closed loop idle.

i have a TBE, JDM mr bov, fuel pump, panel filter, the cams and gears with a jestr flash. The BOV is recir type. That was my 1st thought, but i took it out and check its and swapped out with the stock plastic one for a sec and its still doing the stalling thing. So i switched it back. I can hear it venting normally and it sounds fine.

what do u mean u can hear it venting normally? its not supposed to be venting. The BOV is a recirc TYPE, but are YOU recirc'ing it? Check ur IC piping. Does ur car feel slower by the way?

The car feels the same, it does not see any slower that before. I could always hear the BOV at night, even although its set to recirc. Its gotten worse, its harder to start now. I am gonna check the plugs tomorrow and make sure everything is ok there. Hopefully its not something expensive.

hey guys now it like it does not want to start. I checked the plugs and they look fine. I am gonna check the gaps later when i get off work. My oil level looks kinda high, but thats the only thing that looks outta place so far. Do you think that could be the culprit?

It stalled out the other day and would not restart and now my mechanic is saying that I have a bad crank position sensor. I ordered that, but I am wondering why that would go bad on a fairly low mileage car. Only (19000 miles)

Could be....Do these cars (sorry...Mitsu newb) have a cam position sensor? That could have had some issues when the cams were installed. Just a thought.

I am going to get it reflashed next week hopefully if CFT is open and I can hook up with Jestr. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the problem is only the crank sensor and nothing else. The car has been running fine for a while after the initial tune/flash and cams, and then one day it just started to stall out.

I'll check that as soon as I get it back from the mechanic.
