I will have the mail in flash for the IX starting next week which can remove your fuel cut and also tune it to match your Buschur Intake and rest of your parts

So it's back to stock with the exception of the exhaust, and still hitting fuel cut?

Then there's a separate problem. Those mods weren't causing it, so they can be re-installed if you prefer. Simply getting a tune to remove fuel cut is possibly not the best solution, because you may be hitting fuel cut due to a major problem. The next suggestion would be to completely check all of the MBC connections as well as all of your IC piping connections, including the lower IC pipe. You may be blowing off an IC connection right at 5300rpm.

Also, now that the factory airbox+snorkel re-installed, did you make sure to fasten down the snorkel with both fasteners?

correct me if im wrong but wouldnt it be based on boost because the gauge never reads over 19 but it hits fuel cut high up where it fades out ill definatly check all those anything else you think i should check while im at it

Well, yeah it's related to boost, which is why I said to check the MBC connections and IC connections. All your boost runs through the aforementioned items. You boost gauge reads downline, but your turbo produces boost at the source (obviously). YOu may only be seeing 17-19psi or whatever due to a lot of being leaked out, which is causing your turbo to try to work extremely hard to maintain whatever preset boost you're trying to run. This could be causing your problems. Plus, since you thought your stock MR DV was leaking, I'm not 100% certain you're describing the problem to us correctly, so I'm trying to think outside the box. Fuel cut can be caused naturally from the ECU seeing too much airflow and cutting fuel to save the engine. It can be caused by the MAF not being connected or having a bad electrical connection somewhere. It can also happen, or seem to happen, when an IC pipe pops off or comes loose, because it feels like you're hitting a brick wall when the vaccuum is lost.

Yeah, you are having very strange problems with that brand new car. I think you either got a rare lemon or messed things up along the way by doing too many mods too soon and with the wrong combination. You should NOT be hitting fuel cut at low boost, so there is definitely something wrong. What I can't figure out is why it all started after installing the exhaust.

I wish one of the real EvoM guru's would read all of this and think of some troubleshooting possibilities to help you.

When you checked for leaks, did you pressurize the system? How is your mbc hooked up?

Personally, I don't like to hook them up off the intake manifold because if there's a boost leak, the turbo will work harder to make up for the leak. However, many others here prefer it the way you installed it. So did you pressurize the system when you checked for leaks?

Al, why would you just offer him a tune when there is a obvious problem? I think the problem should be fixed before anymore mods are added.
