Neither have I. But it's definately worth a shot.

No, you have to reset it at the battery.

Btw, Sean Ivey (IveyTuning) says there is a built-in boost cut that will most likely hit right after you install an exhaust, especially if untuned. You did say none of this happened until you installed the exhaust, right? See if the ECU reset works, but if not, then I think this is what's happening...it's specific to the IX ECU and doesn't happen to VIIIs.

It was faster, because the boost was normal. Now, you aren't seeing even stock boost levels, so of course it's slower/weaker.

Al now has mail-in Dynoflashes available if you want to go that route. $249 with quick shipping of your ECU to/from Connecticut.

well i basically had the same issue hes having, happen to me when i put on my turboback. so i figured what helped me might help him. i guess once he resets his ECU, we'll find out if that the problem. hopefully it is. i would hate to see him having some major issues with his car

yeah ur running rich. those are the same problems i was having when i installed my exhaust. i was hittin fuel cut by 5000rpms and a lot of black smoke was coming out my pipe. i dont know what the ECU does, but once u put on a exhaust something changes. i guess it senses less backpressure or a higher exhaust flow. but it tends to dump extra fuel in from what i seen.

so before u go gettin a mail-in flash or safc2. reset ur ecu by either the negative ternimal or ecu fuses (since u have an 06'. the fuses should be the 2 small "20" fuses. 03-04 have a "15" and "20". make sure to look at the diagram on the fuse box so u pull the right fuse). dont pull the wires from the harness that is just more work and very unnecessary. im more than confindent that this will solve ur problem.
