You can safely crank the 16g to 25 psi. That's roughly 2HP per PSI. So what's that, roughly 12 HP gain? Not bad. Plus intake, downpipe, and exhaust. 300 HP is definitely attainable. Got some of that stuff already on the way from RMR.

The EVO stock turbo is reverse rotation from a stock DSM 16g turbo, so it would have to be designed specifically for the EVO.

Where did you get that information??

From what I have heard from "credible" sources every one psi "ceterus perabus" is worth 10hp gain.

From my experience a 20G isn't laggy at all. I run a Big28, which spools about the same as a 16G--20psi by about 3000 RPM. I've seen 20psi by about 3200-3300 with a 20G. The Evo 16G might spool a bit quicker than 3k with it's twin scroll design, but I still doubt that a 20G will seem to have "tremendous lag."

im pretty sure that buschur racing will have a 20G out for the EVO pretty soon.. david buschur himself is super stoked about his new toy!

btw, AMS's website is www.automotosports.com

that's where i'll get mine tuned! (just doing the 51whp package... MBC, SAFC + dyno tuning.. and a K&N for the heck of it)...
