Destroked 2.4 block to 2.1 liter. Who has one?

I am really interested in this setup. I have searched the boards and I have not found anyone running this setup. I am curious to what some people with more experince than I have to say about it. I want to be able to rev up to 10k safely and have just a bit more displacement. I guess my questions would be:

Would a 20g turbo be able to produce power up to 10k rpm?
This is just a 4g64 block with a 4g63 crank and pistons?
Is slowboyracing the only vendor offering the 2.1 block?
Is slowboyracing good?

I can answer 1 question, there is no way the 20g will hold power to 10k. its only slightly bigger than stock and stock nods off at 6800 or so, 20 might, might pull to 8k but i think 7500 is more reasonable.

Marco Passante of Magnus Motorsports ran a destroked 2.4 in his car a year or so back. I'm pretty sure he's gone back to a long rod (156mm) 2.4L. This is not in an evo however.

i'll need something with low spool and still be able to autocross. I was thinking maybe with the increased displacement and built head etc.. a gt35r could do the trick.. but then i would just end up with to much power heheh.

I guess the biggest questions what the hell kind turbo would be best for me? I still want low spool but still be making power up to 10k.

WHY MORE REVS INSTEAD OF DISPLACEMENT- mitsu's shouldn't sound like a honda-?? you are still going to move the same amount of air- if not less.

for the most part, your going to get the same power band out of a turbo- if you can find a turbo that starts to spool at 3k and holds boost to 10k, wow... hence a sequential twin set up for more air... I guess its up to you- in the end, you get the same result- you just have to shift more for quarter- for road racing, you would have to keep the revs much higher all the time.

If you are really serious about using a 4g64, you need to call either Marco at Magnus or Robert at Road/Race.

Both of these guys are VERY familuar with the 4g64's can tell your anything you need to know.
