I have stage 1+ on my car and everytime I redline or did a pull I can see smoke comming out through out redline. This happens only when i pull through out redline... if i'm driving normal... i dont see smoke.

Is this just because i'm a little rich? is it safe?

If it is Black smoke it is Fuel and is quite normal. Blue Smoke is oil.

 

My 03 ate very little oil. My 05 drinks it up pretty quick.

 

dude you have a test pipe.. do you know what that is? you have no cat.. look up any dyno pull of a catless car... every evo especially catless shoots out black smoke.

 

mine doesn't use a drop of oil, as it shouldn't.

between oil changes does the oil level drop. an easy way to tell if you are burning oil

if your engine is eating up oil is that bad? I do have to add oil between oil changes at times... because after a few good run the oil level seems a bit low.

 

Mine doesn't eat up oil. I haven't had to add any between oil changes.
