Ive posted a similar thread in the AMS forums group but just wanted to ensure I dont get any biased advice from AMS forum groupies! :-)

just putting together the pieces for my new GT35r stroker engine build and was wondering if there are any power graphs of a engines running with AMS VSR inlet vs HKS Kansai or other manifold?

thanks in adv. and happy new year!

This isn't answering your question, but the HKS Kansai one I believe needs a new throttle body, ( I believe it uses a 90mm diameter throttle from the a Nissan) and you'll need to reroute your IC piping.

So it looks like major surgery.

I think they both need custom pipework but thats not a problem.
would be v interested in seeing graphs if poss.
The hks kansai is circa $1750, the ams $900.

I am pretty sure AMS used the magnus intake to get base line that they wanted to improve on when they were designing the manifold they sell. They dont want to bash another vender so the info was not made public. Go with the AMS.

RnR also makes an intake manifold that is up there with the rest! It also features welding on the inside seams as well to prevent cracks and hold high intake pressures. Fitment is good and can be built to mate your choice throttle-body!
Not to mention it looks good too, polished and all.

Dont buy a magnus they crack way too much. I had to re-tig my manifold 3-4 times on my GSX and I was only runing 20-22 psi when it cracked. Ams is alot better and way thicker and have never heard of one cracking as of yet.
