I think you can get it directly from Mike@Forge if you PM him. There are several other vendors who are offering it, but I got it straight from Mike, so I'm not sure where to point you. I think my boys at TheSpeedFactor will start stocking them soon after this great experience.

Good review/pics

Definately going to pick up one of these. Would you happen to know if this one is stiffer or softer than the Buschur piece?

No, I don't know, since I haven't seen a Buschur one. I would surmise that they are equally stiff/useful/beneficial. I obviously support both companies 100%.

I think I recall David mentioning somewhere that his bushings are about a 90 durometer rating, whereas ours/Powerflex are about an 80 and the OEM bushings are about a 45.

I won't say that having a 90 durometer will cause any more vibration than an 80 as I've never compared them. It might, or it might not. (I know that question will come up at some point if it hasn't already.)

Totally agree. I was just hoping for some numbers to base how stiff each one was.

Yes, I am. I would already have one, but Forge was out of stock and awaiting its next shipment from the UK. Since I am waiting on the WGA before installing my Buschur ported/coated bits, Mike went out of his way to find me one at another vendor. Luckily, Greg@GSC had one and agreed to send me one on Friday. He later agreed to toss in a set of GSC cams, too, so those will be added as well.

Monday, my Ebay O2 and BR air filter kit will arrive from Dave. Also, the Forge WGA from GSC will arrive on Monday. I will then leave my car at TheSpeedFactor all day on Wednesday to have the follwing parts installed:

- Buschur ported/coated stock exhaust manifold
- Buschur ported/coated stock 10.5 housing
- Ebay O2 (not coated - no time to wait)
- Forge WGA

All of that will be installed at once, then I will be setup quite nicely. I will then dyno on Saturday with this setup, although it won't be retuned until Sunday night. However, on Sunday night, I will not only get tuned for the ported parts, but also for my new SMC alky kit that got installed today. I used your write-up and Carlos', so thanks a lot!

If the cams show up in time, I could potentially have cams/alky/buschur ported bits/wga/unos/rs bov all custom road tuned by Sunday night, the 15th for a potential 380-390whp.

Warr, thats awesome man!!!!

You're getting your stuff done on the 15th, I have my appointment on the 14th to get all my stuff done but what the heck in the end we both will have fast cars......

I'm thinking of getting all the ported stuff as well....but dont want to spend too much money in a wasteful way if I'm gonna upgrade turbos later.

my mods going in on 1/14/06:

HKS 280/280
Prostreet Camgears
Walboro 255
ARP headstuds
AEM EMS with MAF delete
AEM AIT
AEM Map sensor
SMC V2 Alky (I decided to let the shop do it)
ACT MB7-XTSS clutch
Forge Wastegate with red spring
Custom air intake pipe with cone filter
NGK BPR8ES's
dyno tuning with wideband

my current power adding mods:

HKS EVC 5 EBC PSI model
3" TBE

shooting for 370-390+ WHP as well...

after you get your stuff done lets share our dyno sheets and compare notes

Sure thing. Luckily, everything in my list is a sponsored part, and so is the installtion. I'm lucky to get partnered up with people who make (or sell) parts that I love putting on my car. I won't have the standalone and custom intake, but the rest is pretty much identical. Btw, the alky kit is installed and working nicely, but I'm keeping the boost at 21psi until Al shows up to tune me next Sunday. Also, I have the soft spring in the UNOS, so 21psi is the max until I do the red spring WGA. Then, I'll be able to turn the UNOS way down and run 24-25psi easily with only many fewer turns than now (maxed out).

Now, I need to find a tire sponsor.

That's where I'm leaning, especially since they come in 255 width.

Are you asking me or Mike@Forge? Forge will soon be releasing the rear and side mounts, and yes, I will install whichever ones they release.
