yes, I pay $3 a gallon also for straight meth. I was able to find a source for this stuff and its only a 5 minute drive from my girls house

So whenever I go to NJ to see my girl, I can stop and get cheaper NJ gas, and cheap meth

$3 is what English Racing sells it for, but if you buy it by the drum its around $2.40/gallon.

Down here in Eugene it was $19 for 5gallons if i remember right.

Well?? You have some numbers to post? Thanks for going through this all step by step and providing photos. I've been thinking about going with a similar set up, but with the IX 20g. I'm still interested in seeing how much better the numbers look over stock.

Ah, sorry, I did a completely separate thread with all the numbers at each step along the way while tuning and raising boost on both 93oct and with alky. You can see the final numbers in my sig, and that's at 26psi instead of 28+, because I want it to be somewhat reliable long-term and safe for the road course.

DragN, the tank is in the trunk, yes.

KMConn, I no longer need to use any of the heat shields anymore, because there's very little heat in the engine bay. I can use them if I want, but I just leave them off. It looks nice and helps make it easier to work in the engine bay. I can even get to the Forge WGA to adjust it and even remove it without removing the radiator, which is important.

It's been 2 weeks since I sent my manifold to have it port and coated. I just wish the turn around time is a bit faster...I called and they can't even give me an est time. down time sucks...

Sorry, that's partially my fault. He used to have a whole shelf full of pre-ported/pre-coated manis/hotsides/o2s, and the turnaround time was immediate as soon as they received your shipment. For example, I sent my box on Monday, BR received it on Wednesday, emptied the box, refilled it with the pre-ready parts, sent it back the same day, and they arrived on Friday. It was a turnaround time of about 96 hours from the moment my box got dropped off at the post office to when the same box arrived at my house.

Now, they are all out of pre-ready parts and are having to send lots of them out to get coated, which is taking some time due to all the orders coming in.

I just had my parts ported but not coated. Turnaround was very fast. Not sure if the parts that I sent are the parts I got back, but I'm not complaining. I sent in rusty parts and got brand new looking perfectly ported parts back! I don't know if Buschur sandblasts the parts before returning them or I really did get brand new parts back for my used ones. In any case, the porting work looks great. Makes me want one of their ported heads!

/\ no direct comparison was done but buschur has swapped several tubular manifolds with little to no power increase from switching between the stck ported manifold and the new tubular manifold..

warr-thanks for the info. I was debating on wether or not to put mine back on. Whats your opinion on water coming in from the rain guard in the hood getting directly onto the manifold?
