i think the 312 hp is dead on if we're talking about power at the crank.

Dont forget to wake this thread up when you do get to the track, unless you mod by then.

What boost were you running and are you sure that was on pump.

I ran a Stage 3 SRT Sat night with my basically stock 05...just an open DP and no boost controller and from a 40-100 roll I pulled him twice by a fender. That was with a little backfire in 3rd at 6000 rpm and I still pulled twice. The guy runs 12.70s @ 112.xx here at the local track. I was somewhat confused that I pulled him, but he said he was running 22 psi and a little over 300whp. So how did I pull on a 300+whp car that is lighter than me? I'm 250 lbs and my car weighed in at 3460 at Putnam with an empty tank.

I was seeing a 22 psi spike and then a backfire in 3rd gear as it fell to 20 psi, then it dropped to 16 psi and I still pulled.

So you guys are saying with open DP and no MBC I should be making around 250-270whp....but I pulled a 300whp car that is lighter? I just don't get it. My car is no super hero, I ran a 13.70 @ 100 off the showroom floor. My boat is slow, but it sure came to life with the open pipe. I am normally even with stock SRTs on a roll and I was walking all over them this weekend.

That just means he can't drive. A Mopar Stage 3 SRT4 should be around 330whp on pump gas granted there are no boost leaks etc. No way an open downpipe Evo would keep up with that unless you have other mods like cams, flash etc.

ya i seen fast stage 3 srt 4 and also slow stage 3, yes driver has a lot, but then again if from a low mph, the evo has a big jump if the srt4 on a crap tire.
