I had mild gear grinding when shifting at high rpm from 1st to 2nd. I solved the problem completely with BG Synchro Shift trans fluid. I got it at the Lancer Shop. http://www.lancershop.com/customer/p...0&cat=6&page=1

are doing this on a cold tranny or have you warmed up and lubed your gears by rowing through them?? this is crucial? Might be technique, sometimes I feel a little notchy-catchyness on a 2-3 shift on my 05, but that's because I wasn't shifting into the gate well. .

Adjust the rod at the pedal assembly for higher release point. If it helps, inadequate release is the problem. If it nets no improvement, then it is something else. Adjustment is definitely the first thing I would try.

every once and awhile i have some grinding at higher rpms, you really have to throw the shifter hard to get it into gear as well. ive talked to a few people and they said i should purchase the shifter bushings which make a world of difference. i havent gotten any logical answers on why this is happening though.

No trying to force anything while shifting is never good and will eventually lead to serious problems down the road.

Try the clutch adjustment as Actman suggested and if your still getting grinds then its dealer or TRE/SHEP time.
