Where to install MBC now?
I was always told that you should tap it into the intake manifold, because the pressure there is what is really entering your engine. There can be quite a bit of pressure drop from the turbo to the intake manifold.

No problem. We don't put a nipple on the pipe as it isn't needed. Most guys have a manual controller mounted up higher in the engine bay and it is not ony shorter routing but a neater appearing install to just install a "t" in the line going to the BOV. That is your new boost source.

I'm wondering about the differing opinions in this thread and other similar threads. David Buschur is posting that there's no issue with "T-ing" into the BOV line, but others are saying not to do this. In another thread, Jarrod is also saying that the BOV tap is acceptable, and then others are saying it can cause "bucking" and erratic behaviors. Which is it?
Buschur is considered (by some) to be the best of the best, and I'm inclined to believe them. I'm currently looking to relocate my MBC line because of Buschur's LICP, and if it's all the same I'd rather just tee into the BOV line. It's easier, shorter and doesn't require a tap.

Ive had it off the BOV line for 3 years and runs perfect 21 drops to 20 or 19 psi all day long no issues.. hallman pro rx... 2003 evo

Yup, hooked mine up to the BOV line last week, got a tune by Al, and it's running strong. Boost is smooth and holds well.
I do understand people's concerns about using the BOV location, because I initially had a boost leak and it could be dangerous because the turbo might push 30psi to register 21psi (as Warr previously stated). I have t-bolt clamps and a really good install on my stuff, so I'm not too worried.
