What a difference 30 degrees and a little tuning does....
What a difference 30 degrees and a little tuning does....
This is why having your own tuning device rocks....These pulls were on the same flat stretch of road, exact spot....only difference was a different clutch, 30 degrees in temperature, and a little tuning....to be honest it was knocking a little in the mid range....around 4500rpm, because of the boost spike, but I don't normally floor the pedal from 2500rpm to redline, so....I blame the MBC for the knock.

Signifigant difference there.....I'm no Mark French, but I'm getting pretty good if I say so myself.

Do an overlay between the two logs in ECU+ so we can really see the difference in the two graphs. Use the power of the ECU+.
You also might want to turn on some more smoothing. Your peak numbers will come down but it will be easier to see the difference in the cruves.

you have 20% loss in the calculation. That is NOT WHP, that is approx power to the crank. Just FYI
... Its still 30hp before and after though so thats good.

Looks like WHP to me....

Every ecu+ dyno log set at 0% tranny loss that I have done on the dyno is almost spot on with the wheel tq the MD dyno reads and within about 10 wheel hp the MD dyno reads. With it set at 20% loss the numbers are MUCH higher, at least this what I have seen on mustang dynos.
Here I can show you:
Here is my actual dyno graph from the MD dyno (look at the higher number test run which was my 100octane tune):

and here is the ECU plus log (the actual log from the dyno pull) with it set at 20% tranny loss:

Do that make a difference?? No bash, just askin.

Also didn't take some other things into consideration because I forgot about them. I didn't know that the gear makes a difference, but I have 3rd gear pulls that show about the same numbers...
I totally forgot one little important tidbit which makes this whole thing null and void.
The gas.....
I was buying 94 octane that wasn't really 94 and knocking out my....well you can figure where I was knocking. Since I started using Citgo and Exxon 93, I've had to almost do a complete retune, and I'm still working on it.
It only dawned on me a few minutes ago....Sucks too, I was happy =(
As for yours being 0% tranny loss, I was tuned and dyno'd and a few months later I recieved the ECU+, it was almost spot on when I got it before changing settings. Dyno said 320hp and ECU+ said like 330.

A load-bearing Mustang and Dyno Dynamics are more indicative of real wheel horsepower.
