A bunch!

Expo, 94-98 galant, 99-2003 galant, 2003 outlander, 2000-2005 Eclipse, some early montero sports, mighty max, even the old mitu vans had it. Then there are the variations with the mivec head. Even the Dodge stratus and Chrysler sebrings had it. So did the eagle summit(same thing as the expo). So there are a ton of cars on the road with this engine.

are all those 4G64 blocks as strong as the 4G63 block? If not, what type of reinforcing is needed before they are used in EVO applications?

So when calling the local junkyards, looking for a 4G64 I should mention:

1994-2003 Galant's
2000-2005 Eclipse's
Outlanders, Montero's
What Lancers?

What about Sebring/Stratus'? Because they are a Chrysler product, are they different too?

Any info helps!

Thanks!

i was always under the impression the 64 block was the same block but just taller..so i would guess the strength is the same.
