Lower Intercooler Pipe options? (LICP)

I have the Fighter Garage LICP and it definitely helps spool and gives you a few HP (not sure as I have never dynoed my car), a great value for the money. Fitment is also very good.
I have the AMS lower intercooler piping as well....It is perfect fit if you install it right. It does spool up faster with it. But I would of went with Helix if I can do it again because AMS just comes with piping unlike the Helix it comes with beefier black metal peice that connects to the turbo which to me seems most restrictive.

Okay fellas.....I took your advice and purchased a used AMS LICP ($175). I just followed up the installation with a 30 minute beat run. Here is my review:
1. Install - From start to finish the install took me 30 minutes. I removed the front bumper with THESE instructions and everything was SUPER simple.
2. Fit - The AMS LICP fit perfectly on my 2003 EVO. I'm not really sure how you could install this the wrong way or not make it fit. There's ample coupler room to move the pipe around for various different angles.
3. Performance - I'm not sure how to describe the changes. At partial throttle the turbo seems to dip into boost quicker and hit harder than before. Very noticable at partial throttle. It also trumpets the sound of the turbo more than before. I can hear the high pitched sweeeeeeeee more clearly now. At WOT I couldnt tell much difference. It hits just as hard now as it did before. I'm sure it made a difference but I couldn't really tell. Is it worth $200......I dont know.....I know when I did my 10.5 hotside upgrade there was a much bigger return on investment. Either way I am happy. Eventually, when I decide to sell my car, I know I'll get my money back out of the part so its all good.

i installed my LPI LICP last night in the freezing cold. I wasnt sure that thes thing was gonna fit properly so I had to play around with the piping and the couplings until I was happy with the positioning.
I used T-bolt clamps on the section between the pipe and the intercooler inlet, and for the turbo to piping secton, I used the regular clamps that came with it.
as far as performance goes, I really cant tell any seat of the pants difference. I bought this pipe used for $100, and now way in hell I was gonna pay full price for just a piece of metal.
anyhow, my boost seems to peak slightly higher than before, and far as power goes and spoolup, its hard to say. My car is already fast already so to feel or see a gain can only be measured on a dyno...
I think the main thing I need to look out for is boost leaks between the turbo and the piping... I need to get some t-bolt clams on there

I purchased this LICP from horsepowerfreaks.com

I haven't installed it yet though, waiting on some other parts. It is a full 2.5" pipe and comes with 2 silicon couplers and 4 t-bolts. I've been told it will work with the stock IC and their new behemoth IC, when that comes out.
