So I was looking to buy a downpipe for my '03 evo made by Apexi call, Apexi GT Downpipe. It's only listed for the '04+ model. is there a different in an '03 and an '04?

 

I don't think so. The same downpipe should work for all the Evos. The '05s would be the only difference as they got the new turbo and ACD, but I don't think either of those would make a difference in the downpipe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

 

It will fit, there is no difference.

The only difference between the 03 and 04 I can think of is the clearcoat on the wing.

 

different ecu version...but any downpipe should be just fine

 

some 03-04 downpipes do tap the transfer case on 05's due to the ACD.
