Same story goes for many other items, for example the WRX uppipe. You will not believe how many warranty calls we get every week for items such las this. You get what you pay for, personally I wouldn't gamble on any component that has a long install time to save a few dollars - dont' get me wrong, I have replica STI strut braces in my car, they work great, but components subject to fatigue, etc. I am more wary.
