Fine, you may get different results, however you are not running wastegate spring pressure. If you want to adjust the base wastegate pressure you have to run a vaccuum line from a pressure source to the WGA. Not to mention a spike to 1.7 bar is extremely high for pump gas. On race gas it would be ok. Running with the WGA nipple open is NOT a good idea.

agreed. oh and the 1.7 bar was on 101 octane.

i just got my forge w/g/a and i would like to no what spring is in it. its red i no that much. but i will be running 22psi. am i good to go??

not highjacking but i just got my forge wga and was wondering if i connect the wga directly to the turbo what the base psi should be??? or how the heck do you adjust it??

There is a baseline method where you run a vacuum line from the turbo outlet pipe and connect directly to the Forge WGA. That way you can see what you baseline boost is at with the spring installed.

Once you have that set, you can then setup your boost controller.
