GT3071: too much shaft play ?

GT3071: too much shaft play ?
Hello guys,

I just removed my turbo from the engine, but I noticed that my GT3071 has a bit of shaft play in all the directions...

I know that BB turbo has more play than thrust bearings... btw I'd like to be sure that everything is ok...

does anyone know HOW MUCH shaft play is correct and normal at cold ?

Sorry, what's a CH ????

I measured the play:

axial is 0.0067"

vertical is 0.0216"

How are these numbers ?

That seems to be perfectly fine, most GT series turbos will feel like they have a little play until everything heats up.
