We have a evo at the shop which has the 2.3L and Gt35R , the MIVEC spools that turbo so hard we need a larger wasxtegate than we would need on an evo 8 so it will be another week till its ready to roll

The TQ is insane and spool up ridiculous with the mivec

Are you using the MiVec to retard the timing at low RPMs to make it spool faster than the MiVec adances the timing at peak spool to make power? It just doesnt seem like the MiVec could really do all that much considering all it is doing is adjusting the cam gears slightly.

Ok, the graph posted is in RPM's, not in speed. It also looks like an Evo IX with an OEM turbo on pump gas run. If a 35R spooled that fast I'd be running two of them.

Keep me informed please about that EVO IX! I got a IX and I'm giving it to Dave at Buschur Racing to hopefully make a 37R and MIVEC become best friends!
