dear euroracer09,

please learn to spell and write correctly. warrtalon did not instigate anything if you look at his first reply, he was simply offering a suggestion. looking at the list of mods you've "shopped" for, it seems to me like you have not gathered your information from these forums but from the fast and furious 2. also, before you say, dont start with the younger generation nonsense because i am 17 and own an evo too. you have to realize that we are truly lucky to have a car of this potential at our age and rushing into all these power mods may not be a good idea. enjoy it for what it is and take it slow. my suggestion would be to get a full 3" turboback exhaust (all are basically the same, just the style varies), boost controller, drop in filter, and a mail in flash. btw, its emissions not admissions, it may fly at your so called "college" but come on.

albert

ps.

obviously your not getting these mods to just have them, keep it on the track even if it may be tempting. my insurance rate hurts enough already.

Ok kid... I tried to give you some advice on dealing with people, but clearly you're just not mature enough to deal with this. You are absolutely in need of a "negative lecture" and I feel sorry for your professors and TA's that are going to have to try and actually teach you something... There really is not much worse than an overconfident young person who truly feels that they are "winning" an argument by calling people butt pirates, etc.

The Biggest mistake of this thread was telling us you were 17 LOL.

I'm 19 and have an Evo and yes mommy and daddy bought it for me as in they co-signed a loan and I pay for it work full time/ community college at night etc. etc.

Its not like this topic is new every once and awhile you see a young kid getting bought an evo and its the same crap where members bash him for getting a car that a lot of older ppl dream to have but can't because of their financial situation. Most of you are just mad because you're 25-35 or w/e and worked hard for this car, but then you see some 17 year old drive one and it pisses you off because it was given to him whereas you worked hard for it.

If you dont wanna see 17 year olds driving this car maybe you should buy a Porsche, Vette, Ferrari or something because the fact is that a $40,000 is fairly cheap for a rich person since they're probably used to buying BMWS in that price range.

It's like everyone on here thinks the Evo is some forbidden car that only the elite can drive... when the fact is my grandmother could drive it.

I'm not defending this kid either I know he began the stupid name calling but the thread always turns into a "Thanks for letting my insurance go up" etc. etc.

So I had to get the above out.

Listen,

I completely agree with Sterling about presenting yourself in a more mature fashion. If you seriously think that you would get away with telling us you are 17 and then acting with the maturity of someone even younger without getting flamed then you have a large ego problem typically found in adolescents. If you have any plans of redeeming yourself to a respectable plane then I suggest that you stop retaliating at everyone thinking we are attacking you when most just want to help you get into proper forum conduct. You can also reduce the amount of "lol" and "j/k" that you use in your posts, one is very much enough. Believe me, people on evom do not deliberately flame teens with a mom and dad sponsored evo. I have seen 17 and 18 year olds get treated respectfully just because their first post was very mature. You can either stop making your image worse right now or you should go and make another username and start over clean.

That is Warrtalon's first post.....IMO he started it, but it has all depends how you read it and the way I read it seems very rude.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'll be 20, Feb 25th. Working full time and school sucks. I do it reverse school in the morning then work at night.

First off im not going to run and hide like a 12 year old does...... what i am going to do is keep my screen name and stick up for my thoughts and opinions...... what do you want me to do?... go make a new screenname and pretend like Warrlaton was the chosen one?..... Not a Chance.... he indeed started it, and you want to know something else?... i belive i was right, and he was wrong..... just because im younge enough to be his kid, doesent give him the right to be arrogant and disrespectfull..... i will stand my ground, keep my screen name, and go ahead and think what you want, i know Warrlaton or w/e.... knows more about evo's then me and has been a member of EvoM for much longer then i was.... not to mention he has alot more to offer EvoM then me.... but i will most certainly not run away because of the provoking of another EvoM member.... he was much more on the incorrect side then was i
