I realize this thread is kinda old.. but what type of clamps did you use? I had some worm style clamps but I wasn't really happy with how they fit. I wan't something better than the stock clips so I know these hoses never come loose... ideas?

My car smells like coolant every so often. crazy because it is not leaking. I think that sometime when the coolant heats and tries to go to the overflow (expansion)tank, it goes out the overflow downtube. I don't like the design of our overflow tank with the overflow tube right in line. main thing is, it makes me keep an eye on the fluids which is never a bad thing. Adding Water Wetter to the collant has cut down on the occurance of the smell.
