You are really going to have to try harder to communicate properly. It's like deciphering cryptographic codes with you.

First of all, we don't refer to crank HP, because you can't measure that. You should only be talking about WHP. Do you even know what 450 crank HP equates to in terms of WHP? Do you have anywhere near the mods required to get that much power? Are you in need of a clutch now? Is your stocker bad? When you say "Exedy 2," do you mean Exedy Twin? if so, do you not know that the Exedy Twin comes with its own flywheel? By "togue," do you mean "torque"?

Warrtalon is right, you should include a bit more information about what is going on with your car, in its current state. If you are completely unfarmiliar with the Evo or any car for that matter, then you are best off keeping it stock until you learn a bit more to understand what you are getting yourself into. By just throwing parts here around, you are bound to break something. At that point you will become desparate for help, and then turn to the dealer. Who will in turn refuse service because you modded your car.

I think he meant tongue .

Actually I believe he meant togue, a racing event which puts the car thru alot of events, I thing there is a post on the "Togue" event here somewhere. He wants an all out multi-tasker racer. Go Exedy Twin!!!!

he meant togue. it's a japanese race track/event. Ummmm if it's gonna take you FOREVER to get up to hopefully 400WHP is what you're talking because no one gives a crap about crank HP, then an ACT clutch with 2900 pressure plate would suit you fine IMO. I have that kit and I love it.

I think he meant torque..
yea like what everyone said,,
you can't measure crank hp from looking at whp...
You can estimate it by ASSUMING the drivetrain loss..but its not by any means accurate.
Just wait until your stocker slips.

He def meant togue because he said he wanted the car fast in a straight line but also a togue machine, meaning taking turns very well

It's just a 'general rule' that's floating around. With whp alone, you cannot estimate what your engine is actually making. You can't just guess how efficient your engine is. Drive train loss will defer from car to car.
